One night back in 23 November, 2020. I was reminded slowly off a tune from Ravel's Bolero. š¹. I first heard this song growing up watching the Digimon anime. Years later, I finally appreciated the subtlety yet compelling piece of music. Here is the video for a vantage reference:
As we scroll to this page, we hope you may listen to the music accompaniment. The whole piece takes about fifteen minutes. That starts with but a single note. Then a single instrument. Then more instruments chiming in. Until it crescendos/ increases gradually with intensity and converging into one harmonious melody that started in a same way yet finished into completion at the end...

I believe in crescendos and convergences
The Kingdom is here in the midst of us
Like a very fine music that starts with a single note-- The Clef š¼
It starts at the slightest off all pianississimo (ppp), soft and subtle
Hidden amidst the noise off the world š¤«
Gaining traction day by day, it waits, it waits, it waits...
More accompaniments, more accompaniments, more
The cellos chime in,
The cymbals clanging,
The choir singing in harmony,
The violins weaving into its melody š»
A crescendo (<) off sorts
The seemingly soft sound increases
The build up- intensifies
Unknowingly,
The music starts to break precedence šŗ
All harmony, melody, and rhythm coalesces
Into a single point of convergence š¶
A singularity in time and space
The moment when the Conductor emerges once more āļø
From the depths of silence
Directing;
Orchestrating;
Revealing;ā
-The Song-
Words are not able to describe the grandeur off this divinity
ā¦sheer Majesty š
I imagine a time in which all of God's people will sing united š¤
Each to their own unique tune š¤
A tune that on its own was never alone to begin with
It was hidden and dispersed across time and space
Waiting for the Conductor to reveal it š
In His time in His Way,
The Conductor reveals the majesty of His orchestration āļø
As all harmony melody and rhythm coalesces
Into a single point of convergence
A singularity in time and space
-- of His Glory revealed āØ
I believe in crescendos and convergences
The Kingdom is here in the midst of us š¤²

Reflection
Dear Lord, thank You. For this blessed moment to reflect and write about all this..
How You are working in the midst of this broken world is astounding. Your Kingdom come truly is like the mustard seed. It starts as the smallest of all seeds but grows into the largest off all the garden plants. Deeply rooted in its foundation. This poem was and is inspired by Your glory that self-reveals in all things... Sometimes when I feel alone, lost or even helpless I listen to my "Worship playlist" on Spotify. There are lot of artists out there, from Laura Story, Michael W. Smith, Don Moen, Moriah Peters, etc. Yet even though their songs aren't perfect nor are they always theologically accurate, but I do find what You say to be true:
but test everything; hold fast what is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 š§Ŗš¤
And it is indeed true. Not all things are good so we should test everything. But in the good things I will hold fast on too. In times of needāthese songs reminded me of Your grace. Comforted me in my pain. And most importantly, they pointed me back right at You... Thank You for this poem O Lord that You have given us. I finally understood why music especially Jesus-inspired music is so divine. When I look back at history in juxtaposition with Ravel's Bolero. I am inspired to know that:
-The single silent clef note started with Jesus Christ āļø
- It started to gain traction with His disciples silent as the pianississimo (ppp)
-In the span of 2000 years it has gained traction and building the foundations in a crescendo (<)
-It's final proclamation and glory revealed is in Christ's Second Coming, exploding in unison in fortissimo (fff)
Just as when in Solomon's time after The Ark Brought to the Temple, they were praising God:
And when the priests came out of the Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves, without regard to their divisions, and all the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, their sons and kinsmen, arrayed in fine linen, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, stood east of the altar with 120 priests who were trumpeters; and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord,
āFor he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever,ā
the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. 2 Chronicles 5:11-14 šµš„šŗšš
Thank You, Lord for Jesus who started this grand divine song of redemption. Thank You for for the Gospel of Christ. You are good and Your stead fast love endures forever...
The intricacies of the good message that as we have fallen into sin, we need to repent, and only through accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior who died on the Cross and ressurected are we saved...
This continuous hymn and sound of the Gospel that echoes throughout the Bible, history, even my own life. It repeats. It builds. In perpetuity.
Thank You for Your apostles and all those before me who continued that song. Thank You that we are now able to be in the crescendo (<) stage awaiting for the final act and fortissimo in which Christ will return. Lord, please help us just as the priests in Solomon's time to fulfill our duty. No. It is actually our honor to serve You. To bear our cross. And it is a blessing to witness of Your glory. From music, to sermons, to websites, to businesses, to teachers, through all other mediums available, for all my brothers and sisters out there to know that we are all connected in Christ. Help us Lord just as in the time of Solomon to now once-more in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord... To proclaim on the housetops..! That Jesus Christ our Lord is the King of kings and Lord of lords! Hallelujah!~
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 š¤¤š„š
Soli Deo Gloria... To God Alone Be the Glory. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
*Update*
Last night I started reading up when Jesus was explaining the Coming of the Kingdom. This verse caught my attention:
Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, āThe kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, nor will they say, āLook, here it is!ā or āThere!ā for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.ā Luke 17:20-21 š¤šļøš
This idea off a kingdom of God in the midst off us (I finally realized) stemmed from this verse. Whenever I feel alone or as though all hope is lost, I will remember. That God is working in so many ways. In ways that we can never predict. Consciously or unconsciously His Kingdom will come nor can it be observed... Why? Because it has always been here. In the midst of this broken world. Waiting to be revealed in His time... thank You Father. Thy Kingdom come Thy Will be done... In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
